The Culture in Tuscany Portal Project

cultura.toscana.it is the gateway to Tuscany’s cultural heritage, showcasing the internationally renowned excellence of our territory and history.
It allows users to search and browse thousands of documents, images, 3D reconstructions, and videos of the heritage housed in Tuscan cultural institutions and sites.
cultura.toscana.it is divided into two sections – dedicated to the Via Francigena and the Medici villas and gardens – and four thematic sites: Science, Archaeology, Contemporary Art and Bibliotoscana, the search portal for the catalogues of the 12 library networks in Tuscany.
The portal is a high-level cultural and scientific resource aimed at both the general public – through original thematic paths developed by experts in various fields, with links to images, 3D renderings, videos, locations and in-depth information – and scholars, thanks to digitized documents, catalogue records and bibliographic links.
cultura.toscana.it will be frequently updated with new original content and topics, providing all users with a fundamental tool for learning about the cultural heritage of our region.
